Sorry for being MIA, but life kinda happened the last few weeks.

It started with the Silicon Alley Sports flagship event on May 18, which went really well. We lucked out on a blue-sky, 85-degree day that let everything run smoothly. We had record fundraising for our Impact Partner, Sandy Hook Promise, and plenty of smiles and laughs as the community came back for another year.

From there I went right into Bain Capital's Annual General Meeting, where many of our customers, our LPs, come to Boston and spend time with us on recent performance, macro views, and more. Add a few keynote talks at portfolio companies on AI and marketing, and it was a whirlwind.

Then... straight into high school graduation week for my son. He surprised us all by being one of two students chosen to speak at commencement, and his speech brought me to tears. I was so proud of the words, the delivery, and everything he's accomplished over four years at the Tremont School. We hosted family and close friends at the house for the past 96 hours, and I'm ready for a low-key week.

So, apologies there was no OP. I was tied up with all of the above.

At our home just outside Boston, we heard the meteorite that ripped through the atmosphere at 75,000 mph. Craziest thing. I had no idea what it was at the time. It sounded like a large truck hitting a speed bump, or one of the kids jumping off their bed. But no, it was a space rock. Crazy.

Know what else is crazy? The New York Knicks are back in the NBA Finals and face the San Antonio Spurs when we tip off Wednesday evening. We haven't made the Finals since 1999, and unbelievably, the last time we did, we played the Spurs. So we're back, and we're going strong. This Knicks team is setting unprecedented playoff records, and I'm hoping for a strong series against the league's most fascinating and dominant young player, Victor Wembanyama.

I don't have tickets to the series yet, but I plan to watch from my basketball den, surrounded by family and current and vintage Knicks jerseys on the wall.

On watches, I picked up the Kollokium Projekt 02 Variant C "Cooler Waters" Limited Edition and I'm excited to receive it. I've wanted to add a Kollokium for a while, and when I saw the colorway on this one, I jumped on it. Only 299 are being produced.

I mentioned the Silicon Alley Sports flagship event had just passed, and here's the photo gallery and video recap. Hopefully it inspires you to join a future event. Speaking of which, we just launched ticketing for our low-key tennis event on July 28 at 3 PM. If you want to learn more or play with us, check out the info here or reach out to me directly.

Be well, do good.
